Three films. Three Performances. One night.

  • Honey Moon Mead & Cider 1053 North State Street Alley Bellingham, WA 98225 USA (map)

This annual show, now in its fourth year, features three unique, mostly homemade films accompanied by live soundtracks from Devin Champlin, John Swanke, and Sean Curtis Patrick. Hosted by Swanke with visuals curated by Emmy-winning director

, the night blends heartfelt, artful film and music performances with absurd and hilarious internet clip compilations shown between sets.

The evening begins at 7pm with a DJ set of obscure music, handmade projections, and vintage B-movie trailers. At 8pm, a short, highly edited compilation kick off the main program, offering everything from bizarre 1980s self-help videos to strange YouTube deep cuts. Some will make you laugh, some may make you cringe, and one may even require talking back to the screen… The three feature films remain the core of the event, enhanced by an array of obscure instruments, film and video projectors all over, and experimental visuals that transform the Honey Moon into a full A/V experience.

This year, the attempt will be made to have a more comfortable overflow area on the patio with additional projectors, screens, and heaters. Additionally, some exclusive merch by the guys will be available from everything from soda fired pottery, small woodworking pieces, photo books, zines, vinyl records, cassette tapes, and more!
