Join student/teacher combo Kerry Hastings and Geof Morgan on June 12 from 7-9:30pm for an amazing night of original songwriting and musical collaboration.
After nine years in Nashville as an award-winning songwriter, Geof Morgan moved to Bellingham in 1982. He recorded four albums blending personal and social topics and in 1991, began working in social services and stopped touring. After semi-retiring, Geof writes, teaches, hikes with his wife Liz, and looks for opportunities to play music and with other long-time musician friends, and new ones like Kerry.
Kerry found her musical voice after turning 40 and has delved into songwriting with curiosity and delight. Her Americana melodies straddle bluegrass, folk and country, telling powerful stories rooted in her identities as a woman, mother and activist.
