At 8:00 pm we’ll welcome Travelin' Miles, a singer-songwriter based in Boise, ID. Miles’ first performance was at CBGB in NYC over 20 years ago; he’s come a long way since then. He’s developed quite a following here in the ‘ham — we’re delighted to have him back!
The Slim Pickers are a product of late-night festival jam sessions during which the cross-border musicians formed an enduring friendship by way of old-time bluegrass brother duets. While each picker retains an active roll in other acoustic ensembles in Washington and British Columbia, the music they've shared over the years brings them together on occasion, and you'll want to be there when it does.
Original Americana, blending bluegrass, folk, and rock. Cape Flattery features the vocal duo of Lindsay Poynter and Ted O’Connell backed by a stellar rhythm section. Special early 7pm start!
An indie rock band based in Skagit County, Mild Mallard plays an eclectic melding of genres from traditional folk to funk. Featuring Aida Miller on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Nakos "Dobro DJ" Marker on slide guitar, Kaleb Wyatt holding down the beat on drums, and Miguel Garibay on upright bass reminding everyone to "stomp it", these mild mannered ducks will have you grooving to a collection of unique originals and blues-y jams.
They'll share the bill with the Librarians -- pretty and gritty, combining the dreamy and the everyday, the surreal and political, the archetypal and personal, shining a defiant light in these dark days. (And they don't just sing about making change -- Carly's running for Port Commissioner. Vote!!)
Together, this should make for a fine and fun evening of music and good vibes.

Salt Pine is an alternative country band from Bellingham, WA celebrating the release of their newest single: "Ballad of Luigi Mangione." Their Americana sound draws on influences from rock, folk, punk, and bluegrass, and their music blends emotional storytelling with energetic performance. They released their debut EP in 2024 and are currently working on their first full length album.
Grady Drugg is a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and hired gun. Hailing from Springfield, Missouri, Grady has toured and recorded with artists (and dear friends) such as folk singer-songwriter Willi Carlisle, Arkansas-based crooner Dylan Earl, Seattle lullaby rock outfit Ings, and Springfield darlings Dreamgirl.
Bad Posture Club is a queer folk duo living in Anacortes, WA. Together they craft intricate and experimental harmonies with their two voices, banjo, guitar & a 100-year-old pump organ.

Forest Stoke is a farmer by day and a folk singer-songwriter by night, traveling around the Pacific Northwest playing his songs. Shannon Patiño is a Mexican American singer-songwriter currently based in Mount Vernon. She blends folk and pop influences to create heartfelt, empowering, and vulnerably authentic music.
Cascade Cody sings about Washington State. He flies the Doug with his buddies on Lopez, plays underneath the Space Needle has his own streaming series about Washington Music romanticizing rural life in Warshington. Joseph Pennell is story teller steeped in the generosity of spirit. His music is a sophisticated level of tonal bliss. Open, honest, relatable & brilliant.

Fritz & the Freeloaders have been rocking our world since November 2006. This will be their 80th show at the Moon! Come on down to celebrate twenty years of good times with one of Bellingham’s best-loved and most enduring party bands. Cumulus is the indie pop songwriting project of Alexandra Niedzialkowski. The band has evolved over the years while scooping up praise from the likes of Stereogum, Interview, Consequence, PASTE, Under The Radar, KEXP, Brooklyn Vegan, Atwood Magazine, Seattle Weekly, The Stranger, and NPR Music’s All Songs Considered.
Ciel is a French jazz inspired ensemble featuring Upright bass, guitar, vocals, and violin. They play a wide variety of cover music from Seven Nation Army to La Vie En Rose.

Husband and wife duo WB Reid & Bonnie Zahnow are equally at home in a wide range of musical traditions: old-time country harmony singing and fiddle tunes, string blues music from Mississippi and Memphis, Mexican songs and dance tunes, calypso, and more. Their style is relaxed, easy-going, and a ton of fun — and we’re delighted to welcome them back to The Moon.
Brian Martens is a singer-songwriter pioneering a unique style loosely dubbed “electric-mountain-pirate-folk” — a seamless blend of sea shanties, whiskey anthems, classic rock and bluegrass. Sure to be a fine and memorable evening.
